@kristactics: Round four of finding THE closet app: does it actually look and feel good to use. One app nails every category. A couple are gorgeous with one catch. A handful are solid but something's a little off. Some have real problems stacking up. And two are complete dealbreakers. Full breakdown of every score and the reasoning behind it, in the video. #closetapp #wardrobeapp #digitalcloset #outfitplanner #appreview
Stylebook is the OG goat. It’s for real fashion girls. If you can’t use it, it’s a you problem. $5 and no in app purchases/monthly subscription? It’s THE dream.

Thank you for this! I’ve been a loyal Stylebook user for years but one thing I wish they’d change is location of item e.g. I wish it allowed you to make custom locations say wardrobe, suitcase, second wardrobe. Is there any apps that would do that please? As always, thank you for your service! 🫡

I really love my Whering app. Especially the lookbook / packing list generator as a frequent traveler

I’m curious why some apps got the cut for AI use but OpenWardrobe didn’t get cut for using AI? How do you make the distinction?

Honestly I use Whering I really enjoy the look books and being able to make boards for trips the ai aspect sucks but the app is fairly functional and has nice features

I’ve been using the free Pureple for 4 years. I’ve never been forced to use AI. They used to have excessive ads, but within the last couple months I haven’t experienced any ads

Thank you for the thorough analysis, very Bay Area!!! I am working on my own platform (NOT a closet app) that lets freelance stylists curate for the customers (new pieces to buy, not what you own), it’ll be free and will give customers access to free curations and a way to work with stylists in your budget. Let me know if you guys will be interested. 🧚🏽♀️

I’m a diehard Stylebook fan, but I wish they had a better styling option for generating outfits than just a randomizer. I tried Whering recently but it is ridiculously hard to filter options in your closet. It works maybe 15% of the time for me. And the bulk edit is pretty awful.

I’ve had Style Book for years and never kept up with it because it was kind of hard to use. Just started using Alta and I like it so far. The outfit suggestions are bad, mostly because I don’t have a lot of options in yet. The best part for me is that I can also login and use it on web/my computer. Sometimes I’m just tired of having to use my phone Will possibly look at a few that you still have in the running.
