We were at a predator centre, where instructions clearly stated to wear tekkies/ sneakers. One lady had open sandals. When walking over a small bridge during the tour, she got stung by a wasp, and then fell into the water. But it was the facility's fault that she got hurt.

Ski resorts actually do make snow when there isn't enough, but it has to be a certain temperature for that. If they've had a warm week, there really was nothing they could do.
