@nycpublicadvocate: New Yorkers, our advocacy is worth it. Standing up to cruelty is always worth it. Because a mother is now coming home. On Wednesday, we stood with Madeleine, a young woman whose mother was detained. As of today, her mother has been released and reunited with her family. @amadoulyfoundation @Darializa Avila Chevalier @M Saliou Diallo [Video Description: Video is labeled "The Cruelty is the Intention." The Public Advocate speaks at a press conference outside 26 Federal Plaza, joined by Madeleine, a young woman, Amadou Ly of the Amadou Ly Foundation, and Adama Bah of Afrikana]
