@buzzingforhorror: Hasn’t left my brain since I first saw it 🫣 The knife scene in ‘Bring Her Back’ is easily one of the movie’s most stomach-churning moments. Andy gives Ollie a piece of cantaloupe on a kitchen knife, turns away for just a moment, and suddenly Ollie starts gnawing on the blade itself, causing his teeth to break and his mouth to bleed. What makes the scene so disturbing is the slow reveal, with the sound of Ollie chewing on the knife coming before the camera fully shows what he’s doing. The practical effects team used a rubber prop knife, dentures and a puppet head for parts of the sequence, while actor Jonah Wren Phillips actually performed much of the biting, making the moment feel painfully real. #bringherback #horrormovies #horror
