I think it’s because people focus on having a personal brand without actually having a business or offering any value. You’ve grown a lot here partly because a lot of your content is educational = value

@EOTG: Completely agree not everyone should have a personal brand. I think as well people need to realise personal brand isn’t always about ‘lifestyle’ type content but more about this is the value I offer because of my story that inevitably builds the business. I think the difficulty is that building a personal brand first sometimes means the success of the business is dependent and too reliant on you as an individual rather than building a business that can run without you.

I couldn’t agree more! The only thing I would maybe challenge you on is that I think people at the start of their business or journey could absolutely have a personal brand from the start, especially if your personal brand revolves around your “why” for doing that thing in the first place✨
