The court heard that between 2004 and 2013, Hooper molested and repeatedly raped two victims, later boasting about his sexual offences in private online chats. During the same period, Hooper subjected another young girl to physical torture and strangulation, forcing her to complete gruelling physical exercises until she was physically sick. When Kent Police arrested Hooper on 6 September 2025, officers searched his Marine Town home and seized a cache of weapons, including four extendable batons, a knife, and a zombie knife. Hooper denied all allegations, but on Monday 15 June 2026, a jury at Maidstone Crown Court unanimously convicted him of all 17 charges, including rape, sexual assault, and causing a child to engage in sexual activity. On Friday 25 September 2026, the judge sentenced Hooper to 22 years in prison with an extended six-year licence period, alongside an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and lifetime registration on the Sex Offenders Register.
