whats even more interesting is God first instructed Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Genesis 2:16–17, just after placing him in the Garden of Eden and before the creation of Eve. Adam was suppose to instruct Eve, he was in charge. God didn't tell Eve. he told Adam

God made the covenant, “you shall not eat…”with Adam. He hadn’t made one with Eve because she came after that covenant. That’s why after they ate, God looked for Adam. Adam was accountable. And I agree, we, as Christians, sit idle and allow far too many things to go unchecked.

also notice that the garden of Eden is created, then Adam is created, God tells Adam about the fruit he shouldn't eat, then God made Eve - God didn't tell Eve about the fruit, he didn't tell her she couldn't eat it. Adam didn't tell Eve she couldn't eat it. She eats the fruit first and God didn't come before she gave it to Adam, Adam eats the fruit and God comes. Did Eve really sin? since she wasn't told by God that it was a sin to eat the fruit, or was she innocent and had to leave the garden of Eden because of Adam, because he knew eating the fruit was a sin, he didn't tell her eating the fruit was a sin, he didn't stop her from eating it.

God knows our hearts. So He already knew Adam wanted to eat the fruit. He was just allowing her to eat it first. That way...if she died instantly, he could blame the serpent. Since she didnt, he was, in his mind, free to eat too. So many layers.

When he was questioned he put the fault only on Eve and then on god himself. Is the woman you gave me. You need to read that story again.

I was told Eve was deceived by the serpent. Adam was not deceived…he made a choice and took the apple from Eve. That is why he brought sin in and not Eve. Because he was not deceived he chose it even though he was told not to. It was his free will.
