He is not talking about all women because not all women are the wives spoken of where the bible says "he who finds a wife, finds a good thing". Some women can leave and with time and healing you get to a much better place, especially mentally. Oh but there is a particular woman he is talking about, a different kind. A woman who comes into your life and all she does is genuinely love you, serve you, respect you, bring you peace and ultimately makes everything so much better, such women bring a kind of love, wisdom, warmth and presence not even your mom could bring. These are the women he is talking about. You lose this woman and your life will never be the same. Some men become drunkards, drug addicts, depressed, permanently affected and some actually become suicidal. And this goes both ways. Losing a genuinely good man is even more devastating. Love and honor your spouses.

I left everything behind, i didn’t want to start my new life with things that were going to bring memories the past. I started my new life in a new apartment, on my first night I slept on top of my night gown and used my jacket as a pillow, my heart was full of joy because there was no turning back. Now I have a house full of new furniture that no one will ever take from me.

I want to believe that this only applies when the woman was peaceful to begin with. I had some male colleagues who refused to go home after work because of the chaos they would meet at home and after separation, they were excited about going home.

Not all Marriage.. mine left with everything including my kids and my clothes but the house turned into happiness heaven.. for 1st time I slept peacefully without worry about knive or being poisoned 🙂
