@imperfecttaylor: Someone once told me I wouldn’t make six figures and I haven’t been the same since ✨ It’s really not about the money - it’s about people trying to keep you down for their own personal gain. I’m so proud of myself for saying that I disagreed with them in that moment. I easily could’ve bit my tongue and stayed “professional”. But l knew they were wrong and I knew that I could find another job quickly if this one didn’t work out, so I took a bit of a risk with my honesty. I’m glad I did though. I learned many lessons at this company but the main 2 are: 1) people may promise a lot, but that doesn’t mean they will deliver and 2) once you see someone’s (negative) true colors, it’s probably time to move on.
