i used a moisturizer with urea before my tret journey and it was the best, BUT once i started tretinoin it felt like lava stones on my face. urea is magical, but it's also an active, exfoliant and great for bumpy skin, but i wouldn't call a moisturizer containing urea a "boring ass moisturizer". this is just a PSA for anyone with sensitive skin, yes it repairs your barrier once you stop all actives, but it also stings and burns if your skin is sensitized due to tret
