I get 223.6 hours a year lol my work weeks are 36 hours. I can take 3 weeks off only using 3 days of PTO 🙌🏾🙌🏾

I'm too New Zealand to understand not taking your time off. We get 11 statutory days, 20 annual leave days, 5 bereavement days and 10 sick days by law. My company offers other things. There is no prize for not taking your time off.

educator at a charter school here! 👋🏻 unfortunately i only get 5 days sick time and NO pto 🫠 they do give us “staff wellness days” that they schedule into the calendar where there is no school, but the staff has no personal pto.

I have 15 PTO days (this includes sick days) as well as bank holidays, the day after thanksgiving, and the week between Christmas and new years. I thought this was the standard but seems like ppl have a lot more 😅

Unlimited pto only works if you have the right company culture and work in the right field. I’m in consulting and we all use the unlimited pto generously because we have the flexibility to in our field and people are willing to cover for each other.

Why is America like this! I have annual leave/PTO booked in every month from now until April, when it resets. I could not survive UK winter and having to going to work every week! 💀😂
