You’ve got a contradiction problem here. You say people commenting on “what’s fair” and what shops should charge are part of what’s wrong with the industry… then spend the rest of the video telling shops what they should charge for diagnostics, test drives, labor, and profitability You say social media comments “don’t affect your business,” but also call those same people a plague on the industry. And the whole “shade-tree hack” angle is tired. Choosing not to operate out of a brick-and-mortar shop does not make someone a hack. A building is not a qualification. Skill, experience, insurance, tools, accountability, warranty, and quality of work are. You even said the only thing that matters in business is being profitable. So if a professional mobile mechanic cuts massive overhead, charges fairly, warranties the work, and runs a profitable business… what exactly is the problem? A hack is a hack because of the work they do, not because of the address they do it at.
