Otafiire had told Parliament that disagreements were normal but should be resolved peacefully, adding that when you see a general who prefers violence as the best means of solving problems, then there is a problem. Otafiire did not name Muhoozi in his parliamentary remarks, although the comments have since been linked to the two generals’ longstanding differences over politics and succession
