@malpluscats: 11 tips and tricks to hopefully make litter box training your new kitten(s) a little easier. 🖤 Please treat the comments section like a discussion board if you have any questions or if you’re able to share any other tips you have for someone trying to litter box train that I didn’t already mention in this video!
My sister recently got a ragdoll that keeps shitting diarrhoea on the floor right next to the litter tray instead of in it but he pees in the litter tray 🥲 he also never covers his poops if he ever does go in the litter tray

would the litter attractant work dor adult cats, we don't think my cat was litter trained as a kitten (was living with a very old lady who we think probably shouldn't have had a tiny kitten) and he keeps sniffing the litter and then going somewhere else

i have a question, my kitten is 8 weeks and we just got her, she has been intrigued by the litter and has been taking lil nibbles so we have been taking it out of her mouth and not putting litter in there at night incase she eats too much whilst unsupervised. Today she finally used the litter box like she is supposed to so is it now safe to let her have it or should i still be worried that she will eat it when i’m not around? Any advice would be great 😭 thanks in advance !!

We switched to pine pellets a few years ago for our two adult cats. BEST DECISION EVER! We get ours at Tractor Supply. So much cheaper and smells like a wood shop.

Thanks for all the work you do, despite how hard it is on you emotionally, you’re doing a great thing, and sharing your knowledge, both are very admirable.

my issue is my kitten is a stray. the vet estimated her to be about 6 to 7 weeks old. she has been so happy and playful . doesnt seem stressed at all to be in a house. I have her closed off to the back of my house but she only uses her litter box occasionally and seeks out blankets to pee on instead. ive washed everything shes peed on but she is not interested in her box at all even after ive taken her waste and placed it in the box.
