its all of their initials: Melissa, Emily, Clay, Carley, and Annabelle (MECCA). Homage to the whole families blood sweat and tears that built the farm. ❤️❤️❤️best pumpkin patch I've ever been to!

So I was curious about the name “MECCA” in Mecca Family Farm, because I figured there had to be a story behind it. So I looked it up and found out it’s actually made from the first initials of the family members who started the farm Melissa, Emily, Clay, Carley, and Annie. And apparently, they also liked the meaning behind the word “Mecca,” since it can refer to a place that people travel to or want to visit. So basically, it’s a family name disguised as a really cool farm name. 😂 I honestly thought that was pretty damn neat when I found that out.
