I seen a comment saying more competition beter results while this is true and it pushes the game further and increases demand I think it will get to a point where progress plateaus and "better" will become a gimik instead of real progress for example look at iPhone iPhone made the most progres and technological advancements around the iPhone 11 ish range and since progress is negligible and the older models do the same thing just as good untill they get purposefully downgraded to entice you to buy a new one however with ai we are barley through the door and this tactic is already in play from gpt 5.5 to 6 they can do the same thing all most the same untill one is made to be worser than it is and I think AI on a consumer level will become a highly inflated market in terms of price to quality ratio just like the iPhone or android the next model is always 1000 bucks for something that cost far less than half that to produce guys ai is not good nor bad but how you let it become is what determines that
