@bookedbewitched: ️ MAGICAL MONDAY 🕯️ Let’s talk CANDLE COLOR MAGIC. Walk into the candle aisle as a witch and suddenly you're not shopping anymore. You're looking at possibilities. 😂 Color correspondences are commonly used in modern witchcraft as another way to symbolize and focus the intention behind a working. And you definitely don't need every color of the rainbow sitting in your supply cabinet. 🌈 COMMON CANDLE COLOR ASSOCIATIONS 🤍 WHITE Cleansing • protection • peace • healing • clarity 🖤 BLACK Protection • banishing • boundaries • releasing ❤️ RED Passion • courage • strength • desire 🩷 PINK Love • friendship • compassion • self-love 🧡 ORANGE Creativity • confidence • opportunity • motivation 💛 YELLOW Happiness • communication • focus • success 💚 GREEN Prosperity • abundance • growth • luck 💙 BLUE Peace • healing • communication • wisdom 💜 PURPLE Intuition • spiritual work • divination • personal power 🌙 HOW DO YOU USE THEM? Choose a candle whose color represents your intention. You can keep it simple and light the candle while focusing on that intention... or incorporate it into a larger ritual with herbs, oils, sigils, petitions, crystals or other tools that belong in your practice. But here's the part I really want beginners to know: You do NOT need the “perfect” candle color. Only have white? Use white. Only have a birthday candle? Use the birthday candle. 😂 Only have that slightly questionable vanilla candle you've had in a cabinet since 2019? Listen... we work with what we've got. Correspondences are tools that help give symbolism and structure to your practice. They're not magical laws. Different traditions, practitioners and sources may even assign slightly different meanings to the same colors. Your intention and understanding of what you're doing matter more than whether you managed to find the exact shade of green somebody on TikTok told you was required. Magic doesn't have to be expensive. It doesn't have to be aesthetically perfect. And it definitely doesn't require a $28 artisan candle. Sometimes the little white tea light from the 100-pack is doing just fine. 😂🖤 #MagicalMonday #CandleMagic #CandleColorMagic #ColorMagic #Witchcraft #BeginnerWitch #Spellwork #WitchTok #WitchTips #TheEnchantedSilverveil
