I’m sorry but the movies are actually a major disappointment in Deku Battle IQ bc in the show he actually DOES have great battle IQ and has to constantly find a workaround for the villains quirk, but in the movies it tends to just be dumbed down to “what if I just tried really hard next time” and it works. Case in point.

Deku’s battle IQ is pretty good but I wish there were more internal dialogue where he notices “did he just slightly push him? So it’s not a perfect time lock? Just limits momentum or something?
