We got 4 acres, fenced, bought it that way, we got 4 dogs that we let out in the morning 6AM and don’t see them back until 9AM, we watched them once using binoculars and they basically smell everything, run, smell, pee, run, smell, bark at some random hole/tree, then do it all over again in another part of the property. It’s funny to watch, they come back at 9am, sleep until about 4pm, eat then back out for a couple of hours, then bed. Next day, same thing 🤭

My dog is 14 so I will let him stop as much as he wants and when he’s got something really good and it’s going to be a minute, it really forces me to stop and look around and enjoy the flowers and the bird calls and the sounds of kids on a distant playground and that lady’s cool shoes, so honestly, we both get something out of it.
