Bēdu sauciens no Ukrainas. 18.maijā Ukrainā ir pieņemts jauns mobilizācijas likums, stājoties spēkā tai pašā dienā. Iesaukšanas vecuma vīriešiem vairs nav atļauts izbraukt no Ukrainas. Desmitiem tūkstošu vīriešu cenšas nelegāli aizbēgt, ejot pāri kalniem un upēm. Gandrīz katru dienu no upes, kas robežojas ar Rumāniju, tiek izcelti noslīkušie. Pārējos mobilizējamos valsts vīriešus, t. i., vecumā no 18 līdz 60 gadiem, savāc pilsētas ielās, piekauj un piespiež doties uz fronti.
