Yimir was manipulating eren that’s why the first ever episode was “To you, 2000 years from now” she lived through eren so that she could free herself that’s why eren gets a shock on his head both when he was a child waking up from his dream and when he kissed historia’s hand because yimir was sending his destiny through in both of those moments it was just settled in stone when he kissed historias hand that’s why there was no more happy eren after that moment because he fell into his roles yimir put there for him yimir freed herself from the paths time dosnt exist in the paths so she sent it through there that’s why titan transformations are instant even tho in the show it was shown to take multiple days to hours but she made eren a slave so she could be free as a slave in a way they both had a part to play but he eventually fell into his role as a slave to his destiny because he was stubborn and wanted what he wanted but yimir was attached to eren and mikasas love story it was opposite but kinda similar yimir was in love “mentally attached” to king fritz and died for him she never understood real love but seeing eren and mikasa taught her her love wasn’t real she stayed in the paths for 2000 years for king fritz because she loved him yimir attached herself to mikasa that’s why she had so many headaches while trying to kill eren because yimir was watching the story play out through mikasas eyes but that mikasa was “mentally attached” to eren but didn’t fall into a similar role as yimir and become Erens slave she was able to kill him because she loved him so much eren is a polar opposite to yimir basically denying the life of a trapped pig in a cage like yimir was he wanted to be be free and see the ocean basically eren never fell into his roles like yimir did and mikisa was willing to escape her abuser by killing Eren so she created a future where she could basically watch it like a movie because she was obsessed with eren and mikisa the part where mikisa said yimir was peering into her head is in the show just do your research the show had a deeper meaning than most people know each season it kept getting deeper and it’s easy to get lost in the last season
