on the day my nan passed away, while she was still at home, a butterfly landed on our doorstep, crawled onto our hands, let us pass it around, didnt leave, and then a feather dropped in front of us. I always say it was my grandad coming to say its okay if she goes now 🥹 she died that night. every day until her funeral, we had a butterfly inside our home that wouldnt leave 🥹 the following year on her anniversary, we put their ashes together and buried them at a memorial site and a butterfly was with us for the whole service 🥺 I don't believe thats just a coincidence x
