Needed this! I literally told one of my closest friends recently about my long planned engagement trip in Ireland for September. She then randomly sent me her engagement ring on August 31st as a “little life upstate” and I was nothing but nice and even said we need to celebrate soon. She still hasn’t even asked me about my trip. I got engaged two weeks after her and now I now longer feel comfortable sharing. I genuinely could never do that to a friend and I’m finally done. 💔
