To anyone that doesn’t know. When the dwarves opened that chest. Thranduil wife’s necklace was in there. From what I understand. And it was the last thing he had left of her. And somehow the dwarves had it. If I’m not mistaken. And that is why Thranduil dislikes the dwarves. And he refuses to move on from her. That is true love!

Liked the movie character development of Legolas from The Hobbit through to ROTK. He goes from a stoic/ice cold killer (in The Hobbit) and shows little to no emotion; then get to LOTR and he is more open with humour with those closest to him (Aragorn/Gimli/The Fellowship), almost as if he knows he can let his guard down a little with them. Best movie trilogies EVER
