@lizzierebuilds: Updates! So many things happening but I’m still chugging along where I can. Thanks for all the love and support and we will figure this out one day at a time! #cleaningtiktok #update #CleanTok
can insurance do anything about the asbestos or maybe contact your health dept to see if they can do anything to help

I’ll watch every video until you get the roof, the air conditioner, the French drain, the basement floor, the basement drywall, and your kids’ playroom. ❤️Your videos got me to tackle some projects of my own.

One thing at a time. French drain first - everything else can happen in order when you have the funds. You’ll get there!

In some situations you can put on ppe and remove the tiles yourself.

One day at a time. Your basement will be done in the time that it is meant to be done by. Don’t stress yourself about it being completed. Take care of yourself first and then work on the French drain

Look a habit resale place. They sell flooring and it’s usually all new that is leftover form construction jobs

Would epoxy work for the floor?

I would focus on the flooding issues first. Using your money to deal with that. Finishing the room downstairs where there's mold and asbestos is probably not an area you want your kids anywhere down there. Even if it is enclosed.

Chelsea Dawson :
I’d advise cleaning the mold with soap and water and using a specific mold killing enzyme cleaner (not bleach) to keep spores from traveling throughout your house until you get the issues fixed.

Things just aren’t working in your favor right now! But as you said, everything is figure-out-able! You have a great community here that you’ve created to help aid and give hope along the way!

are you able to have the hysterectomy via laparascope? My recovery was really easy, although it took a couple of weeks to get back up to speed. Wishing you the best.

Asbestos is mold repellent. Look up what your states laws are about removing asbestos as a homeowner.

Note: Almost every old tile has asbestos. The danger is in the removal.

I would very much advise look into getting whole house air purifiers.

Word of advice - don’t renovate anything down there until the mold is GONE

It seems like it’s always one thing after another. Houses really are money pits. Keep your positive attitude everything will work out in its own time. Keep smiling I’ll watch you fold laundry if that’s what you’ve got. Hugs sweetie
