Capitalism could work if there is effective laws to protect tge average people and limits the elites just look at 1950 it worked a street cleaner could afford a house and send kids to collage but the the elites became to greedy and wealth shifted to only a few like in south Africa 80% of total countries wealth is controlled by less than 10% of the population and the rest are slaves to the system
