On Tuesday October 6th our baby girls arrived. 💕🕊️ 9 months ago we found out our family was growing not by one but by 2. We were excited and nervous and had all the feelings that come with finding out we were going to be a family of 5. We had no idea how much our lives were about to change or how much we were about to go through. We started this pregnancy with a lot of appointments that turned into us praying that everything would be okay. Then in April at 12 weeks we were told news no parent ever wants to hear. We learned that baby B had multiple diagnosis that wouldnt allow her to survive. Although we knew god can do anything and we weren’t going to give up hope we started to prepare ourselves to say goodbye. Then at 27 weeks and 5 days on July 24th she went up to heaven and our hearts were shattered. I carried 2 baby’s in my belly for 9 months and those 2 babies made me a twin mom and Zach a twin dad. We have had to learn how to deal with excitement and grief, joy and sadness at the same time. But through it all Zach was right there beside me. Making a way to come to just about every appointment, holding me while I cried and continue to support me and our family. Asher reminded me every day that there was so much love and light in our family even when it felt like our world was falling apart. Skye Kristen, you were so incredibly loved and all you knew was love. We didn’t know how your story was going to end up but we know your up in heaven, not suffering and waiting for us to get there. I wish we could’ve got the future we dreamed of but no matter what we will be sure you carry you on in every chapter our family goes through. Raelynn Jane-Skye, our sweet girl, you have no idea how hard we prayed for you, how ready we were to hear your cry and hold you tight. We couldn’t imagine life without you and we are so lucky to have you. We wish life looked different, but some stories have endings we don’t want. To everyone who prayed for us and comforted us THANK YOU!
