Outdoorsy bought a local campground i am a member at. They ruined the family atmosphere raised prices for members annually and when booking at this campground. Seems they're too greedy.

Airbnb charges 15%. I dont understand why outdoorsy does 25%. What chaps my ass is that they charge for delivery fee. I get charging that 25% on the rental fee. but the delivery and cleaning fee is just plain greedy.

I learned the hard lesson my first year on the platforms what happens when you offer to waive the insurance fee and use my own. Your customer either doesn't get the paperwork in on time and is then mad at you even though you consistently reminded them. However if you do successfully get it all done the platform takes 50% instead of 25%.They also don't tell you this before hand. I was hot to say the least.

I have an appliance repair business and it's similar to companies that charge for leads. Sure you'll have additional traffic but it eats into your profits. Fortunately I stay busy enough to avoid using them.
