I was doing apartment renos last summer. Me and a much more experienced guy were setting a new toilet. He was behind it guiding it and I was carrying it in and he stepped on the water like valve. It snapped off on the pipe. Water was flowing like crazy. He yelled fuck and just ran away and I’m fighting for my life trying to use my palm and finger tips on this jagged ass piece of pipe to and just getting drenched 😭 for like at least ten minutes while he was trying to find the main for this building outside. Tons of building on this complex. It was the third story too and I’m just in pure terror wet to the gills

for future reference if u didnt know u can put a piece of 2 inch pvc over the hole and it will blow out of the 2 inch and suck out the water/dirt
