@keywestshawn: Yesterday, this corner of Caroline and William Street looked like a canal. Today? Sunshine, dry pavement and Key West is right back to being Key West. That flooding video absolutely exploded. More than 4 MILLION views on Facebook and another 500,000+ on TikTok, and with that came thousands of comments, messages and people checking in to make sure everyone down here was okay. So first of all, THANK YOU. ❤️ Yesterday’s combination of torrential rain and a king tide put a lot of water on our streets, but Key West can change pretty darn quickly. I wanted to come back to the exact same spot today so you could see it for yourself. Flooded street. Normal street. Flooded street. Normal street. Same Key West.
