it's funny whenever someone talks about evil. I think of the Marvel comics and how the villains have a story as well.. of course, we wish the villains didn't do what they end up doing but we know where they are coming from.. which is usually because they were hurt. They aren't inherently bad but their life circumstances have changed their perspective to the point most people just automatically judge them without even wondering why..

God, Jesus and Holy Spirit were always there so I think it’s safe to say Holy Spirit also symbolizes light and fire ( don’t forget fire creates light ) the best way to know what’s good and evil is not by judging but let alone by acknowledging that the Holy Spirit can whisper in your ears and tell you this is good and this is bad / just because we learned or got used to that, light is good and darkness is bad dosent mean it’s true think of it this way when u pray you close your eyes (what do you see when you close your eyes ) Darkness… but at that very moment your in Gods presence and nothing is better than a moment whit GOD 🙏🏻

This definitely made me think, but I think there’s an important distinction here. If the boy grew up believing violence was loyalty, but the violence was still wrong before he ever realized it was wrong, then his understanding of good and evil didn’t determine what was actually good or evil. His perspective changed—the standard didn’t. And I think that matters when we bring it back to Genesis. It wasn’t the Tree of Good and Evil, it was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve even knew before eating that God had given them a boundary they weren’t supposed to cross. So for me, the bigger question is: who defines good and evil in the first place? If each of us ultimately decides for ourselves, how can we say the boy’s family was wrong when, according to their own understanding, they believed they were right? I think that’s actually where this points back to God. Our eyes can be opened, our understanding can change, and we can realize we were wrong—but that doesn’t mean we created the difference between good and evil. It means we finally recognized a difference that was already there. 🤍
