My mom almost died and had an emergency c section with my older brother 27 years ago. My dad STILL only talks about how uncomfortable the bed was and my mom can’t forget him eating a snickers bar in front of her when she was starving/waiting for surgery. Idk how they’re still together lmao

I had my 2nd of 3 open heart surgeries at Northwestern, they have their own private hotel for patients and workers only, like $35 a night. its called Worcester house and those beds were like just giant slabs of concrete

In my recovery room there were 2 hospital beds so all my visitors got to sleep in a hospital bed too
