I will die on the hill that The Village is actually a great movie, that it's not about the twist but what love can do. I also don't get the hate for Trap, it's not a side of a story we often get to see, and see the bad guy living such a normal perfect looking life

disclosure day was just very generic overall. the themes were quite on the nose, all the sci fi stuff felt like it was stuff thats already been done hundreds of times. The characters were not engaging at all.

I like Supergirl and think basically 90% of the criticisms get the entire film wrong. The hero of Supergirl is Ruthye, but the protagonist is Kara. The villain is Krem, but the antagonist is the PTSD and survivor’s guilt of Kara and Ruthye. And I think most male haters didn’t like a film where a major plot point is female trafficking. I’ve watched it three times. Is it perfect? Definitely not. Is it way better than its box office would imply? Absolutely.
