@recallhistory: A reporter interviews 10-year-old Kobe Bryant at a basketball arena, introducing him as Joe’s son and calling him phenomenal and incredibly talented. Kobe smiles, says “yes, yes,” then tells the reporter enough when the praise continues. Asked if he could become a great pro like his dad, he says, “I hope so.” Prime Video Sport IT dates the interview to 1989 in Reggio Emilia, where Joe “Jellybean” Bryant was playing after leaving the NBA. Kobe had already lived in several Italian cities, learned Italian, and later said Italy taught him fundamentals. The Lakers drafted him in 1996 at age 17. #fypシ゚ #nostalgia #throwback #History
