@moviemomentsofficial: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox star in this sci-fi action film directed by Michael Bay, the sequel to Transformers (2007). Two years after the first battle, Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) is heading off to college and trying to leave the Autobots behind. But the Decepticons return, led by an ancient Transformer known as The Fallen, who wants to destroy the Sun and wipe out humanity. Sam has been left with a fragment of the shard that holds the key, so he and girlfriend Mikaela (Fox) go on the run, and the Autobots, along with military officers Lennox (Josh Duhamel) and Epps (Tyrese Gibson), must stop the villains. It all ends in a massive battle in the Egyptian desert, where Optimus Prime falls and Sam must find a way to bring him back. The film was a huge box office success despite largely negative reviews.
