@holly.xss0: Thank you for everything, Matt. You did so much for Eddsworld despite all the pressure and hate you received.I will never stop thanking you for the work you did and the love you continued to put into the serie, for fulfilling the wish of your friend Edd Gould. Nothing lasts forever... #eddsworld #matteddsworld #matthargreaves💜 #goodbye

flora_laufey<3 :

Most of the reason Matt, Tom, Tord, Paul, and Patrick left was because they constantly received unnecessary hate. To give you an idea, the ship between Paul and Patrick received a lot of unnecessary hate from a part of the fandom, to the point where people harassed Patrick and he distanced himself from Paul, who was a great friend of his at the time.In other words, it's the fandom's fault for throwing unnecessary hate at them, and at some point Eddworld won't continue

Tbh it's about time they let go eddsworld for good It's a great show but it won't be the same without the og crew and that's not possible anymore

WAIT HE ACTUALLY QUIT WAIT SERIOUSLY?

Gus :

Now they all left

zeth :

matt, ya sabemos que edd estaría de lo más agradecido contigo por seguir su proyecto de sus sueños por más tiempo del que el pudo estar con vida, y eso ya es suficiente voyallorar

KillerCola. :

btw.. the Eddsworld group no longer exists

Just Tord :

This time I won't say "just Tord," honestly, I do feel bad. I don't understand the people who complain that the episodes haven't been released regularly. Let's just wish him the best.

And all because of the community, who were never satisfied with what little remained of that good era. 💔

N𝟦ᴛ 🪶 :

it's sad cause in a way it was bound to happen, the way he's portrayed in the show(as matt in real life) shows how exhausted he was, he mentioned that it was something he didn't have control of, Tom mentioned it that the series was passed down to Edd's family, so Matt really didn't have any choice, I really hope this isn't the end of it, such sudden news, but thanks to matt we actually got official merch, even if after all the problems around the fandom

WAIT.... IS HE LEAVING
