@carolbeecooks: 🍤 Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp ready in the same amount of time it takes to cook rice! 10 minutes prep + 10 minutes cook time = the best 20 minute dinner Ingredients: 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp paprika 1 tbsp olive oil 4 tbsp unsalted butter 1 shallot, finely chopped 6 garlic cloves, minced 1 green onion, sliced (light & dark parts divided) 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tbsp light brown sugar 2 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tbsp fish sauce Lemon wedges, for serving Instructions: 1. Pat shrimp dry and toss with flour and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp about 2 minutes per side, then remove. 2 Lower heat to medium and melt butter. Add shallot, garlic, light green onion parts, and red pepper flakes. Cook about 2 minutes. 3. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and fish sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened. 4. Turn off the heat and toss the shrimp back into the sauce. Top with remaining green onion and serve with lemon wedges and rice.
