@ceeone.ase: 🚨🇿🇼 LEAKED AUDIO CIRCULATING AFTER SIR WICKNELL CHIVAYO’S DEATH — WHAT IS REALLY BEING SAID? AUDIO LEAKS and old voice notes connected to the late businessman Wicknell Chivayo are once again circulating widely on social media, with some users making serious claims about his relationship with President Emmerson Mnangagwa — including allegations that go as far as saying Chivayo had somehow “bewitched” or spiritually controlled the President. But what exactly is contained in these recordings? The controversy surrounding Chivayo and leaked voice notes is not new. In 2024, recordings allegedly featuring Chivayo circulated in Zimbabwe. In those recordings, the voice was reported to discuss his close access to President Mnangagwa, his influence within government circles and various business deals. Some reports said the recording appeared to suggest that Chivayo believed he had significant influence over the system and could use his relationship with people in power to advance business interests. However, there is an important side of the story that must not be ignored. Chivayo denied that the voice notes were genuine. He described the recordings as fake and suggested they could have been fabricated using sophisticated technology. Presidential spokesperson George Charamba also questioned the authenticity of the recording and said the voice needed to be properly authenticated before conclusions could be drawn. Now, following Chivayo's death in the September 30 helicopter crash, some of these recordings are being circulated again, while social media users are attaching new interpretations to conversations that were already controversial years ago. President Mnangagwa has since publicly confirmed Chivayo's death and spoken about meeting him shortly before the crash. The “bewitching” allegation is therefore a claim circulating around the audio — not something independently established by the sources I found. There is currently no reliable evidence in the reporting I found proving that Chivayo used witchcraft or supernatural means to control President Mnangagwa. What makes the recording interesting is the language being used and the claims about political access, business relationships, government contracts and influence. Because some parts of the audio are in local Zimbabwean languages, many people listening outside Zimbabwe may not understand exactly what is being said. 👀 So what is actually being said in the audio? What is being claimed about Mnangagwa? And which parts are fact, allegation or interpretation?
