@friendsofoas: Recently, Oakland Animal Services Animal Control Officers picked up these two ducks after they were left in a dirty body of water up in the hills. They arrived with injuries to their heads and, as it turns out, metal in their stomachs. Thankfully, with some TLC, these tough little ducks healed wonderfully. Once they were feeling their best, they headed off to one of our amazing partner organizations, where they can continue living their best duck lives. Another reason we're so grateful for the small animal program and all that we are able to do for Oaklands animals 🦆
