The 7-Day is a lie, I used it for 4 days and it was asking me and my friends our cards already, and the people at the subway said it was a lie too, it does gives you a few more rides but not unlimited for the 7 days :)

Just got back and had amazing time soo much to do n see . We stayed at yotel hotel right down . Went to wax museum . Ride the ferry to see Statue of Liberty 🗽 went to comedy 🎭 dinner at the view restaurant took the train 🚊 for the time such a beautiful place to visit .

the pass is not unlimited unlimited, if you swipe once you won’t be able to swipe again for like 30 mins so don’t go thinking you can swipe for all your friends lol

Just use the same phone and then you only max out at $35. If you have a big group than maybe two phones/cards. But it’s cheaper if you just use the same card for like two people

When i went to NYC in 2013 I was only there for 36 hours and got a 7-day MTA card. I was staying in Astoria, and used the F-train to go in and out of Manhattan and get around. I must have used $40 worth of journeys in the time I was there.
