@turtlehospital: Big day for four of our juvenile greens 💚🐢 Cicada, Pancho, Beagle and Coco all had eye tumor removal surgery with Dr. Karpinski of Pinecrest Veterinary Hospital today! Cicada and Pancho unfortunately don’t have clear corneas, but Beagle and Coco have clear corneas in both eyes 🙏🏼 Cicada and Pancho will begin chemotherapy eye drops in hopes of improving their vision and preventing the tumors from growing back. Fibropapilloma tumors may be benign, but they can still have a big impact on a turtle’s health and quality of life. Thankfully, treatments used for human cancer can also help us fight back against these stubborn tumors and give our patients the best chance at healing. These four little greens have been through so much already, and we’re hoping today marks the beginning of a brighter chapter for all of them ❤️‍🩹 Please keep Cicada, Pancho, Beagle and Coco in your thoughts and send lots of prayers and healing energies their way 🙏🏼✨ #seaturtlerescue #seaturtles #marinelife #rescuerehabrelease #seaturtleconservation @TurtleBette

They all look as though they need a lot of love. And I’m just thinking that it’ll probably take a long time for them to recover. (That’s what you told me.) Wishing them a speedy recovery and lots of love
