@nbcconnecticut: Yale students, faculty and alumni rallied in New Haven, calling on university leaders not to settle with the Trump administration over a federal investigation into the medical school’s admissions practices. The Department of Education has alleged Yale selected applicants based on race and discriminated against white and Asian applicants. Rally participants disputed those findings and said they fear a settlement could lead to restrictions on academic freedom. I'm okay with Yale accepting only black students for about the next 50 years. let's level that playing field a bit. and only a bit. hundreds of years of brutal oppression is ultimately going to take a lot more than that to truly level the field, but we could start with Yale and heck why not all the higher education institutions, being federally funded 100% and accepting only people of color, 75% of them women because they have been brutally oppressed for thousands of years, for the next 50 years. I'm 100% down. it's time to fix what's been broken by patriarchy.
