But these are allegations and testimony—not proof that any of these senators committed corruption. Senator Bong Go has denied that he submitted a list connected to corruption or the flood-control controversy, while Senator Imee Marcos said she did not know what Bonoan meant by his reference to her “thanks.” What I believe the public deserves is clarity, transparency, and a proper investigation. If government funds were accessed through these mechanisms, the public should know how the funds were requested, approved, allocated, and ultimately spent.
