They changed their minds about what the trip would be so then you changed yours. Every decision has consequences their decision had consequences those consequences were going to affect you and you were within your rights to reevaluate how you were going to participate. It is healthy for couples to still have friend catch ups as individuals as well as couple get together activities and a mix of both.

Op is being taking advantage of just being single how the f is the calculation not going down even when you bring other people along, the split should be even. And now he is the one being and unreasonable like their bringing their girlfriends along without even informing him.

Just had a similar situation in fiji. One of the guys bought a guest to the wedding. Found out on the last day that she didn't pay for anything. She was bragging about how she spent the least amount of money. What pisses me off the most is I took my 13 year old daughter and I paid adult fees for her. Accommodation, activities and car hire. I cant call her out because its my partners group of friends. Is this fair?

1000/4 = 250 per dude. 1000/3 = 333 per couple. this is excluding other activities that they gonna pay for, quard biking, hiking, spa, dinner etc...if it was just gents, it would be just drinking and fishing...so yeah NTA...

maybe if the girls are going they should pitch in some money instead of op being shamed for ditching the changed trip and being single 😏 I dunno just a thought. as a girl I wouldn't want to crash the boys trip I hate it when a friend brings her man on a girl's outting as it changes the vibe. I assume it's the same for guys.

the bitter comment is really irking me…. they changed the entire trip, the vibes went off, and when he points that out its “just jealousy?” those types of people can need be good friends because that comment is a projection. if the tables were turned they’d be the jealous ones instead of being happy for their friend
