@craigplant_: If you’re a baritone trying to sing A4 to C5, stop trying to drag all that weight up with you. The cords are too thick up here, so we need to thin them out whilst staying connected. Get it ugly, don’t swallow the sound, let the air flow, then start adding the power back in. Let me know how you get on.
