Mmmmm idk about all that… I think we’re being way too generous on the morality of the men who inflict punishment on other shitty men. Most of the time it’s an ego thing, and the other man’s behavior just gives them an excuse. I don’t think it’s actually to get justice for victims

I have multiple stories of men committing crimes against women and their wives, and getting promoted to cover the "expenses." The bros at work are like, "We've all been there!" so they circle the wagons and get each other resources.

the menendez brothers. the victims land in jail over and over again. and the predators remain outside. it is the oldest cycle.

I saw a video where the woman said it was Schrodinger’s man… You meet a new man and he could be great or he could kill you. 🥲

You made me think of this one video of someone doing an analysis on the movie Leviticus and they mentioned something along the lines of acts of intimacy being internalized as inherently violent. I don’t fully remember what they said after that but I think it’s interesting that a film portraying the violence that gay men face because of their sexuality is also showing how it fosters violence within the relationship even though when they aren’t in public eye they get to be more gentle and loving to each other. I think you are right and a majority of them really do think it’s inherently violent and that it’s ok because it’s the way things are.

My man just is not interested in others attention. When people were like what would you do if your man was in that group chat? And I was like….. he would never find himself in that setting….

Thank you 🙏🏽. Someone else posted this but she said that the most dangerous ppl are not the ones in jail but the CEOs, doctors, lawyers and politicians, etc. These are the men who can afford to avoid the consequences of their actions. The pedos that get locked up are the ones that can’t afford to escape the “justice” system. I also think the system will make a show of those men to create the illusion of a just society.

The scariest guy in my HS was a defender of all women and kids! He would knock dudes out with one punch cold! He didn’t know me from a can of paint and beat a guy for me while I stood watching with his girl. I’ll never forget him Lance was his name! A dying breed of males

I have a similar thought process about dead men and cut bloodlines. One time my friend was yapping and she said something like “throughout history all the good brave men who righteously protected women and children often died at the hands of the “evil” men who then inherited the earth… time and time again through history (wars) , so now there’s just generally naturally less of this type of man” and it kinda destroyed me thinking about how true this is. I’m studying anthropology to prep for my masters after i finally graduate… and boy is this a historically backed hypothesis 😭

To be honest, some men in prison just use it as a reason to commit violence and justify it. At the end of the day they are still criminals and we shouldn’t glorify it.
