I used to see a shadow at the bottom of the stairs in my childhood home, there was absolutely nothing there that my mind was mistaking for it and sometimes it would still be there if I looked at it directly but fade away after a couple of seconds. around 11, I told my mum and to my absolute horror she said she'd seen it too, every night when she went to the toilet. but then informed me that it was the previous owner looking watching out for us, and sure enough, my parents had only been able to afford that house that had been built in the 70s because the previous owner had died 6 months before we moved in from suspicious circumstances

my mom saw a shadow person one nighttime watching TV and she yelled at it postpartum second appeared she told then they could have the house and left and this was about a month after my grandfather passed and my grandmother passed in that room 7 years earlier
