I saw her in the park with the pigeons on her a few years ago. Men were saying mean things as they passed by. I pulled out my bag of seeds and fed the birds too. She gave me a knowing nod. I will miss her. 🩵

This is actually so heart breaking, when I was in NYC I saw her and just thought wow that woman must really like pigeons but she was THE Pigeon woman and I’ll never see her again 😖

Echoing what others have suggested: she needs a statue on the bench that doubles as a bird feeder. It could have its hands outstretched and people can put a quarter in a nearby dispenser to fill her hands with bird feed, and when you do so it plays Feeder the Birds from Mary Poppins @mamdani let’s make it happen
