everytime a tenant moves into a property I always tell them to please look over everything and make sure to mark down anything they dont agree with as we are all human and can miss things. However that report looks horrible!!!!

This sounds like me on Friday getting my keys and entering for the first time 😩😩 putrid is the word. Peoples level of ‘clean’ and ‘in good working order’ really amazes me.

my last one was like that, they put over 1600 photos and said everything was clean and professional carpet cleaning, the carpets were putrid and not cleaned at all. I moved out in feb and still taking them to court, it takes soooo long.

Mine said garage and carport in good condition, I went into office and said I cant find the garage and carport (I was being sarcastic) Property Manager said well obviously the property doesn’t have them - I stated the condition report states there is !!!

I’m lucky my property manager labeled everything as dirty and damaged. House was brought then placed straight up for rent without any cleaners going through first.

What a great service. So many rental agents gloss over problems in the beginning, but when you go to move out, all of a sudden they look over everything with a fine tooth comb.

I edited almost every item on my current one 🤦♀️I don't think they realise that legal documents go both ways either! Theres a pot belly fireplace that was listed as clean and working condition - half the insulation bricks in the fire box are noticeably damaged without even opening the door to look. It's a massive hazard and they would be liable if a tenant used it after being told in writing that it's in working condition.

I love this ! Been saying for years always do a really good entry reports as the agents lie…. I have been yelled at by a estate manager for over doing my entry report lol 😂 they will take your bond for previous tenants . I wonder what was on that vacating report????

Ours was hilarious when they took photos of the bins outside stating they were clean, they just took pictures of the tops of the bins because they were FILTHY inside . They lie. Spend the time people!

As a cleaner I’ve always said, There is a full time business in just doing this for new tenants. It is disgraceful how property managers treat vacating tenants based on faulty entry reports. People moving in just want to fry in and do not have time for this. They trust the report given to them.
