so.. let me hold your instructors hand when i say this.. she’s gonna end up injuring yall with this technique. you should land with the same technique as any jump, slightly bent knees, with your base landing toe, ball, heel. it shouldn’t make a loud thud but shouldn’t land on just the balls of your feet

my coach never did this for a kickline.... and I'm so glad because goodness that seems awful, plus I even have messed up calves from dance so I know I wouldnt survive without my sleeves 😭
